What this service is

We publish market information — exchange rates, average shipping costs, guides and ideas — and we offer a procurement service you reach by messaging us.

Using the website or the app is free. What a sourcing job costs is agreed with you in conversation, before you pay anything.

The figures here are averages, not quotes

This is the most important thing on this page. Every rate and band we publish is an average of what the market has been doing. It is there to help you decide whether an idea is worth chasing.

It is not a price we have offered you. Your own cost depends on your goods, your quantity, your timing and which shipping company carries it.

Rates move. A figure you saw last week may not hold today. Ask us before you commit money to a plan built on one.

What the assistant is

It is software. It answers from what we publish and from general knowledge, and it can be wrong.

Nothing it says is a quotation, an offer, or professional advice about customs, tax or law. When the answer matters, ask a person. The button to do that is on every screen.

Your account

Your account is yours. Keep the password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has it.

There is no automated password reset, because there is no email address on the account. Recovery is a message to us on WhatsApp.

Do not make an account with somebody else's number.

Using it fairly

A few things we ask you not to do.

• Do not use the service to break the law, in Nigeria, in China or anywhere else.
• Do not send us requests for goods that cannot legally be imported.
• Do not scrape, resell or republish what we publish as though it were yours.
• Do not attack, overload or try to break into any part of this.

Sourcing work

A request sent through the app is an enquiry, not an order. Nothing is bought and no money moves until we have agreed the details with you in writing.

Where we act for you, what we owe you is what we agreed for that job. Suppliers, factories and shipping companies are separate businesses and we do not control them.

What we are responsible for

We take real care with what we publish and with work you ask us to do. We cannot promise that an average will match your invoice, that a supplier will behave, or that a shipment will arrive on a particular day.

We are not liable for a business decision you make from a published figure. That is exactly why the specific number is a conversation rather than a page.

Ending it

You can stop using the service whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account. We can close an account that is being used to break these terms.

Which law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where our customers are.

Talking to us

Everything here ends the same way as everything else we do: message us. A person answers, usually the same day.
