How to ship from China to Nigeria

What consolidated shipping is

You rarely have enough goods to fill a container, or to book a whole air pallet.

In consolidated shipping, also called groupage, your cartons travel with other importers' goods and you pay only for what you use: per CBM by sea, per kilo by air.

You need no company registration and no licence. It is how most Nigerian importers ship, whether it is one carton or three hundred.

Step 1. Get a quotation

Tell us what the goods are, roughly how heavy or how big they are (carton sizes, and how many), and your city in Nigeria.

We come back with today's rate for air and for sea, and an honest transit window for each. The live rates on our homepage are your starting point before you even message us.

Step 2. We send you our warehouse address

Once you confirm, you get our China warehouse address and a shipping mark: a short code that says every one of these cartons is yours.

Give that address to your suppliers and they deliver to us. Delivery inside China is cheap, often free, and Chinese suppliers do it every day.

If you bought through us, this step happens without you touching it.

Step 3. We receive, check and combine

As cartons arrive we match them to your shipping mark, weigh them, measure them and photograph them.

If a carton turns up crushed or short, you hear about it while the supplier can still fix it. Not after it has crossed an ocean.

Goods from all of your suppliers become one shipment with one bill. Three suppliers, one shipment, one person to call.

Step 4. We track it

From the day it leaves the warehouse you get an update at every stage. Left China, in transit, arrived in Nigeria, clearing customs.

You never have to chase anybody for news, and clearing is part of the service.

Step 5. Arrival and collection

When your goods land and clear, we send you the final weight or volume and what is left to pay.

You pay in naira, then collect from the pickup point or have us deliver to your city.

You pay the shipping balance on arrival, when the goods are already in Nigeria. That order of events protects you.

Rates and routes change week to week, and no single company is best at everything. General cargo, goods with batteries, fragile items and urgent boxes each have companies that handle them best.
